Spring 2026 Wednesday Evening Session: Jewelry Lost Wax Casting - 6-9pm

$300.00

8 week class on Wednesday evenings from 6-9pm, April 1st - May 20th

The Full Price of the class is $550 . Materials are paid as used for casting.

Scroll down to the drop down menu, select a semester, and place your deposit of $300 to reserve your space. The remaining balance of $250 is due on the first day of class.

This class is for beginners and intermediate students.

This class will teach students wax casting jewelry making. In this class students will make at least 2 projects in wax and cast them into metal in our centrifugal force casting machine. Students will learn a variety of techniques including:

  • Wax tooling techniques with engravers

  • Use of hot and cold techniques in wax mold making

  • Investing plaster molds for burn out

  • Use of kiln to burn out

  • Use of oxy-acetylene torch to melt metal

  • Use of polishing machine for finish work

This is a hands on casting experience that allows students the opportunity to create in one medium and finish in another. You will be handling a large torch, and using a centrifugal force casting machine.

This 8 week class meets on Wednesdays for 3 hours per week from 6-9pm.
