I was introduced to jewelry making around 18 years old by a girlfriend. I took night classes and got a job at a local jeweler doing assembly work. My next job was making body jewelry in S.F.
I then took a few years off and worked at Ed Hardy's tattoo shop. I mention this because Ed had the largest collection of art books I have ever seen. I would study them during down time, this exposed me to the various styles of art and design I currently draw from for inspiration.
Soon after leaving Tattoo City I was drawn back into making jewelry. I studied silver smithing in New york for two more years. In 2007 I moved to San Francisco where I currently have a studio and study at Macchiarini Design.
Recently, I began working as a teacher's assistant at Metalworks Studio. I learn through teaching, every Friday night at our Fabrication class.
